Description :
This is a world whose peace was destroyed by the Shadow Lord, ‘Secneum’. ‘Niro’ is a half-elf, half-human boy who lost his parents as a baby and was adopted by a slave couple. In this world, slaves are not treated as humans. Since Niro’s adoptive parents are slaves, they are mistreated and eventually lose their lives. Now Niro is alone once more, and must shoulder the burdens of his family and do whatever is takes to protect his two younger siblings. If Niro wants to escape this fate, there is only one thing he can do. He must graduate from the academy, ‘Excanum’ just like the current Emperor, ‘Muren’ who was once a slave!

This is finished so ignore the ongoing series part but I’m going to comment my opinion on it. Overall, I personallu think it’s an amazing story. It deals with some self-made philosophy and how to find yourself in darkness. It has darkness and light while also creating redemption for characters that feels worthy and a good sense of character building in general. The characters arent too realistic, they still hold this “manwha” element but they also have a sense of soul to them. On top of that, the world building isn’t too shabby, though it’s mostly revealed towards the end. It can be a bit confusing at parts but it all ties together very well. I think it has a satisfying ending, even if a bit quick.

Okay cool story though im dropping it because it got irritatting after a while because of all the hints of romance and stupid brother rivalry and stuff but in the end after 80 chapters niro still doesnt even have an actual girl I even checked the wiki it says hes still single so whats the point in reading 40 chapters of half-romance when it legit gets nowhere, u just end up reading his asshole brother steal his girl after a 40 chapters of charactor and romance development, what a waste of my time.
